Joseph John Englehart, 26, Royalton, was convicted of felony fifth degree drug possession in Morrison County District Court Wednesday.
On June 12, an officer from the Little Falls Police Department saw Englehart driving on Ninth Street Northeast in Little Falls despite his license being revoked and having multiple warrants for his arrest.
After stopping Englehart and placing him under arrest, law enforcement checked the area where he was handcuffed and found a canister containing crystal methamphetamine.
Englehart admitted the canister was his.
The canister was later field tested and tested positive for meth. It weighed .7 grams.
Englehart pleaded guilty to the felony possession charge.
Englehart was sentenced to 48 days in jail, and given credit for 48 days of time served, $185 in fines and five years of supervised probation.
