Sherri Lee Nurnberger, 52, Little Falls, was charged Jan. 22, with one felony count of harassment — violating a restraining order after a previous conviction for domestic violence.

According to the criminal complaint, on Feb. 24, 2015, a harassment restraining order was issued preventing Nurnberger from having any contact with the victim until Feb. 23, 2017.

On Jan. 22, at 1:46 a.m., law enforcement was contacted by the victim, who reported that Nurnberger was at his residence in violation of her restraining order.

The victim alleged Nurnberger had been outside the victim’s residence, stomping and yelling at him. The victim pointed out footprints in the snow, allegedly belonging to Nurnberger. The victim’s phone also indicated a number of calls were placed from Nurnberger’s residence to the victim.

Nurnberger’s vehicle was later located by law enforcement. Officers stopped the suspect vehicle and confirmed that the driver was Nurnberger. She allegedly admitted she had been at the victim’s residence.

Officers observed an odor of alcohol coming from Nurnberger, and she allegedly had bloodshot, watery eyes. Field sobriety tests indicated alcohol intoxication, and a breath test registers a blood alcohol concentration of .135.

Nurnberger was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of DWI.

Nurnberger’s criminal record shows previous convictions for violating a restraining order in July 2015 and February 2015 in Morrison County.

If convicted, Nurnberger faces up to five years imprisonment and/or $10,000 in fines for the felony and up to 90 days in jail and/or $1,000 in fines for each misdemeanor.
