Samuel Cabildo Nicolas, Jr., 36, Little Falls, was convicted Jan. 6 in Morrison County District Court of one felony count of fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine.
According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 23, 2015, law enforcement in Little Falls went to a residence in search of Nicolas, who had an active warrant out for his arrest.
Nicolas was located in the yard and placed under arrest.
A subsequent search found a pipe with white residue in it, which Nicolas admitted was his meth pipe.
A pack of cigarettes located in Nicolas’ pants pocket was found to contained a white powder that appeared to be methamphetamine.
Nicolas admitted that the powder was meth.
Nicolas was sentenced to one year and one day in prison and fined $135.
