Brandon David Plante, 20, Little Falls, was charged July 21 with one felony count of fifth-degree possession of heroin.
According to the criminal complaint, on July 20, Plante was attempting to enter a Morrison County courtroom when he was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Plante was taken into custody, and a search found a band-aid on the subject’s left hip area. Plante was asked to remove the band-aid and it was found to be attached to a small plastic baggie with a white powdery substance, which tested positive for heroin. The weight of the heroin was approximately .6 grams.
If convicted, Plante faces up to five years imprisonment and/or $10,000 in fines.
