Ryan Richard Krueger, 35, St. Cloud, was charged Oct. 22 with one felony count of fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine.
According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 21, law enforcement received a report of a man trying to break into someone’s garage in Little Falls.
An officer arrived on the scene and located a male suspect. The officer pulled up in his squad car and placed a spotlight on the suspect, who was allegedly observed lifting his arms up over a fence and dropping something from his hand.
The officer made contact with the suspect, identified as Krueger, who appeared to be very intoxicated. The officer checked the area around Krueger and found the item that was dropped over the fence, a glass pipe containing burned residue.
The pipe field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Krueger was placed under arrest.
If convicted, Krueger faces up to five years in prison and/or $10,000 in fines.
