Daniel Gene Hoehle, 31, Little Falls, is facing a felony charge in Morrison County District Court for allegedly violating a no contact order.
The charge stems from a no contact order issued in Stearns County when Hoehle was charged with felony domestic assault. Under the order, Hoehle was not to contact the victim or her children.
On June 3, the Stearns County Probation Department asked the Little Falls Police Department to check the victim’s residence as they suspected Hoehle was violating the no contact order, the criminal complaint said.
When an officer knocked on the door, Hoehle allegedly answered the door.
When asked why he was at the residence, Hoehle said he was asked by the victim to watch her children while she was out.
Two of the children present in the residence were among those Hoehle is prohibited from having contact with, the criminal complaint said.
Due to two previous domestic assault convictions in Stearns and Morrison County from this year and 2011 respectively, Hoehle was charged with a felony.
If convicted, Hoehle faces up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
