James Clyde Spencer, 56, Pierz, is facing two felony second degree criminal sexual conduct charges in Morrison County District Court.
The charges stem from a call to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Department, June 13, which said two juveniles under the age of 13 were being sexually abused by Spencer.
One of the victim’s parents told law enforcement his child was at a friend’s home and Spencer was also at the home, the criminal complaint said.
The man told law enforcement his child allegedly said inappropriate things had happened at the home after being picked up one day.
A deputy and a Morrison County Social Worker spoke with the two children at the home when the incident allegedly occurred.
The victim whose parent reported the alleged incident said Spencer had touched them inappropriately, the criminal complaint said.
The other child allegedly corroborated the first one’s story and added that Spencer had also touched them in the past, the criminal complaint said.
If convicted of both charges, Spencer faces up to 10 years in prison and/or $20,000 in fines.
