The following people, charged with a gross misdemeanor or misdemeanor level crime in Morrison County District Court, have recently been sentenced:
Gross Misdemeanors
- Tate Arthur Faehnrich, 37, Little Falls (offense: 2/24/16): dismissed against Faehnrich was one gross misdemeanor count of driving after cancellation.
- Jack Charles Havrilak, 52, Randall (offense: 8/15/16): driving after cancellation, fined $135, sentenced to 30 days in jail and probation to the court for two years; (offense: 5/18/16) driving after cancellation, fines concurrent with first count. Dismissed against Havrilak was gross misdemeanor count of driving after cancellation.
- Carolyn Ethel Engholm, 60, Little Falls (offense: 12/14/16) second degree DWI, fined $215, sentenced to 30 days in jail and supervised probation for four years. Dismissed against Engholm was one gross misdemeanor count of third degree DWI.
- Graig David Even, 38, Brainerd (offense: 12/23/11)): dismissed against Even were two gross misdemeanor counts, one for theft – obtain services – no payment and theft by swindle.
- Christopher Lee Obermiller, 26, Royalton (offense: 1/17/17): DWI, fined $385, sentenced to 30 days in jail and supervised probation for four years. Dismissed against Obermiller was one gross misdemeanor count of DWI.
- Tanner Lee Nunn, 25, Thief River Falls (offense: 8/20/16) DWI, fined $135, sentenced to 30 days in jail and supervised probation for four years. Dismissed against Nunn was one gross misdemeanor count of DWI.
Misdemeanors
- Joseph Richard Collins, 39, St. Cloud (offense 7/19/16): domestic assault, fined $135, sentenced to five days in jail and supervised probation for two years.
- Jolene Marie Piekarski, 49, Little Falls; (offense: 7/23/2016) assault in the fifth degree, fined $135, sentenced to three days in jail and supervised probation for one year.
- Darla Jean Grotheer, 49, Elk River (offense: 12/11/2016): No insurance owner, fined $135, probation to the court for one year.
- Joshua Scott Koehn, 31, Burtrum; (offense: 1/19/17) DWI, fined $560, sentenced to two days in jail and supervised probation for two years.
