Jessica Marie Allen, 30, Little Falls, was convicted Nov. 18 in Morrison County District Court of one felony count of third-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school zone.
According to the criminal complaint, on April 25 around 9:47 a.m., law enforcement received a complaint of an adult woman walking around completely naked near Little Falls Community High School.
Officers arriving at the scene found the suspect sitting in a minivan, naked except for a blanket wrapped around her. She was identified as Allen, and seemed very confused and unaware of how she got to that location.
Allen stated she was at the school for her daughter’s T-ball game. Officers noted that the nearby ball fields were filled with children playing ballgames.
Allen admitted to smoking synthetic marijuana before the officers arrived.
A witness located Allen’s clothing near the school. Inside was found a small plastic baggie containing a white crystal substance and a glass pipe. The substance later field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
Allen admitted that she had used methamphetamine that morning.
Allen was given a stay of imposition and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for seven days already served, and 20 years probation.
She was also fined $285.
Allen had one felony count of fifth-degree methamphetamine possession dismissed as part of a plea bargain.
