Samuel Cabildo Nicolas Jr., 36, Little Falls, was charged Monday with one felony count of fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine.
According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 23, law enforcement went to conduct a warrant check at a residence in Little Falls in search of Nicolas, who had an active warrant out for his arrest.
An officer arrived at the scene, found Nicolas in the backyard of the residence and placed him under arrest.
During a search incident to arrest, a pipe was found on Nicolas’ person. The pipe contained a white residue and Nicolas allegedly admitted it was his meth pipe. In addition, a pack of cigarettes in Nicolas’ pants pocket was found to contain a white powder that appeared to be methamphetamine.
Nicolas allegedly admitted that the powder was methamphetamine.
If convicted, Nicolas faces up to five years in prison and/or $10,000 in fines.
